Mit dem Palisades™ Rucksack rücken für dich und deinen vierbeinigen Gefährten selbst entlegenste Gegenden in greifbare Nähe. Als unser volumenstärkstes Modell mit modularer Konstruktion ist dieser Rucksack für mehrtägige Touren entwickelt. Vorgeformte, perforierte EVA-Schaumpolster an Rücken und Bauch bieten außergewöhnlichen Komfort und Atmungsaktivität. Die abnehmbaren Satteltaschen lassen sich am atmungsaktiven, unabhängig nutzbaren Basisgeschirr mit Griff und integrierten Reißverschlusstaschen befestigen. Sie eignen sich damit perfekt für kurze Abstecher oder Tagestouren vom Camp.

Ein internes Netzfach und ein externes Daisy-Chain-System ermöglichen flexible Organisation für alles, was dein Hund unterwegs braucht, angefangen vom Schlafsystem über das Futter bis hin zur Wasserversorung. Sechs Verstellpunkte sorgen für eine optimale Passform, drei Leinenbefestigungspunkte ermöglichen eine sichere Verbindung zwischen Hund und Leine und reflektierende Einsätze mit integrierter Lichtschlaufe für The Beacon™ verbessern die Sichtbarkeit bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen.

Es wird empfohlen, dass dein Hund nicht mehr als 25 % seines Körpergewichts trägt, dazu zählen auch das Gewicht des Rucksacks und dessen Inhalt. Wenn dein Hund noch keine Rucksäcke gewohnt ist, starte mit leichter Last und steigere das Gewicht schrittweise.

Great fit and thoughtfully designed
After getting my Great Pyrenees mix Atlas well accustomed to his smaller daypack on hikes and several backpacking trips, it was time to upgrade to the Palasides pack with more carrying capacity. So happy the new light blue color came out! He can now carry his sleeping bag, emergency evacuation sling (that we hope we never need), freeze-dried food, and other little items with plenty of room. I don’t ask him to carry more than 10% of his body weight, but having him carry some bulky lightweight items frees up room in my own pack. The harness fits GREAT - we used it on walks without the saddlebags for a while to make sure all the adjustments were perfect before we took it on a trip. I spent time carefully weighing out which items to carry in each saddlebag to make sure everything was even. The saddlebags are a little fiddly to attach when the harness is already on the dog, and same with the flopper stopper snap loops. But that’s mostly because Atlas doesn’t like to stand perfectly still. Once fastened through, the whole setup is very secure and we had zero issues with sliding around, saddlebags shifting to the sides, pressure points, or anything else! Feels like it was custom made just for him. Well done RuffWear!

Never Disappointed with Ruffwear
With backpacking season coming up, we needed to get a harness/pack combo for our GSD pup to be able to come out with us. These packs have held up well throughout our dogs years, and this one did not disappoint. Fit our girl very well, she was able to walk freely along the hike part while carrying 3 days of food, her coat to sleep in, and some toys for the lake.
