Quality life vest
Admittedly it’s too cold here this time of year to test it in the water, but our Float Coat arrived yesterday and I’m delighted with it. Really nice quality and detailing (the Velcro tabs to hold the chest straps are brilliant) and all the stitching is solid. I can see what people mean about the plastic D ring, I wouldn’t recommend hooking a leash to it for walking; it doesn’t look very strong. I imagine it would be fine if you were using it to tether your dog while swimming. I have a 37lb Shepherd/Pit Bull mix with a 16” neck and a 24” chest, and the Small fits her perfectly. I took her for a walk in it yesterday and she seemed quite comfortable. She doesn’t mind wearing it at all. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can get her on the paddle board!

I can only judge the workmanship and quality which are excellent as it did not fit my Boerboel as well as I would have liked and returned it. Never tried it in water. Return was easy.

It’s hands down one of the best dog life jackets we’ve tried.
Feels very secure without restricting movement. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a snug fit, and the jacket stays in place even when my dog is swimming, jumping in, or being lifted out of the water.
Also love the top handle—it makes lifting my dog in and out of the water so much easier and safer.
The material feels durable and high quality, just like you’d expect from Ruffwear. It dries relatively quickly and holds up well after multiple uses.
Gives me real peace of mind and lets my dog enjoy the water confidently and safely.
