Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert Jacket no matter what kinds of cold and wet elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside.

The Vert features extended, waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert to be worn over a harness.

What's New: High-loft recycled polyester insulation for more warmth; lightweight polyester material on the inside for a fur-resistant liner.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

    Good coat for working dogs during waiting times

    Airedale female terrier 60 cm, 28 kg

    Size M fits perfectly and the yellow also looks surprisingly good (not really 'our' color). I use the coat in winter during dummy training during waiting periods/breaks in wet and cold weather and sleet. Quick to put on and take off when it's your turn. The coat fits well and is not 'too much'.

    Lovely dog jacket!

    Excellent service from Ruffwear. Product is very well designed and made. Fit on my active lab is great - particularly around the chest/top of front legs. Ideal for those wet, windy and cold days we are having at present in January in the UK!

    Warm and toasty for my Spaniel

    I keep my spaniel’s coat clipped very short as we spend lots of time in the outdoors and her coat when long is magnet for muck and dirt. Therefore I was looking for an insulated waterproof coat and the Ruffwear Vert jacket is perfect. Recent when hiking in -5 windchill I took my glove off and placed my hand under her coat and the heat warmed my hand. My spaniel loves her new coa which is of the highest quality typical of Ruffwear.
