Palisades™ Pack

Modular, Multi-Day Backpacking Pack

Color

Selected: Red Currant

The Palisades™ Pack puts the deepest of the backcountry within reach for you and your canine companion. Our highest-volume pack with a modular design is built for multi-day treks, with molded and perforated EVA foam back and belly panels for exceptional comfort and breathability. The removable saddlebags attach to a breathable, standalone harness with a handle and integrated zippered pockets – ideal for streamlined day trips and side excursions from camp.

Radial cut, weight-forward saddlebags offer stable and comfortable gear carry, and an internal mesh pocket and external daisy chain system offers flexible organization for your dog's trekking necessities like a sleeping system, food, or hydration. Six points of adjustment provide an optimal fit, three leash attachment points allow for secure leash-canine connections, and reflective trim with an integrated light loop for The Beacon™ help boost visibility in low-light conditions.

It’s recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of their body weight, including pack weight and its contents. If your dog is new to dog packs, start with a light load and work up to a heavier load as your dog gets used to wearing the pack.

Modular Carry System

Removable saddlebags allow for the harness to be worn on its own to lighten the load for stream crossings, trail breaks, or settling in at camp

Breathable Comfort

Molded and perforated EVA foam back and belly panels create exceptional comfort and breathability

Day Pack Ready

Low-profile integrated zip pockets on base harness provides light storage for quick side excursions

    Fits and is immediately accepted

Actually, the dog should be interviewed. She is used to a set of dishes and has had her backpack easily put on. Even with small and large businesses, there were no uncertainties. She doesn't seem to mind the backpack. Let's just put it empty a few more times and then practice with a little weight. I think that will also work without problems. The backpack is expensive, but it also looks high-quality. It will certainly last a dog's life, just like my good trekking backpack. Good quality pays off, even for dogs.

Top product in very good quality

I already had two other dog backpacks/saddlebags before the Palisades, as the price of the palisade had always put me off. Compared to the other two, you really get something for your money here. Fits perfectly, enough space and adjustment options. Just a great product for my four-legged friend and the other two were sold again. ;-)

Ordered the wrong size but it looks amazing and comfortable for my dog. Has everything we need for long hikes and it fits a lot of gear.

    Need more colorways

We have been using this bag for our big guy Cheddar for years, and just got one for our girlie Pepperoni. Love how they fit; love the capacity; love the adjusters; love that you can take the packs off for breaks. Such an epically designed dog backpacking pack!!

Our only qualm... We wish you had blue and red or more colors in general. Cheddar's color is blue and Pepperoni's is Red, we like to have their stuff in separate colors. :p

Best dog pack on the market.

I have had a Palisades Pack for each of my 3 dogs. The first pack I had was given to a friend for their dog when mine passed away. I bought one for my next dog and he had it for about 6 years we have done lots of adventures together with him in it, and now as he has gotten too old for long hikes over rough Terrain, my new puppy decided to shred it. He tore the webbing apart. Oh well, he was 5 months old and just getting his adult teeth in. So here we are at #3. The puppy now at 9 months, that destroyed my old 12 year’s old pack, has a brand new pack of his own. So unless you accidentally let your new puppy destroy it, these harnesses and packs will last for a lifetime of the dog.
