Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Lumenglow is a Relaxed Fit with a zippered closure and sleeves for core heat retention

Formfitting Regular Fit Relaxed Fit
Snug and conforms to the body’s contours. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel. Tailored with a bit of wiggle room. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel.     Walk At Night Fearlessly

    This is a well made, highly visible night vest. It fits my large dog perfectly. The design is well thought out with buckles to hold the straps in place and a slot that gives access to his harness. It covers his neck to his rump and stays in place beautifully. It allows us to walk at night with the security of knowing that we are visible to oncoming traffic or other people

    Excellent visibility, rugged material

    I have bought these for all of my dogs, and have recommended them for my friends as well (several of whom have also bought these vests and love them!). The difference in visibility is impressive. I get questioned about this vest and where it was purchased very frequently. The fabric is rugged, and mine still looks in excellent condition despite my dogs being absolute heathens and running through brush and mud constantly. I run it through the wash when it needs it and recommend air-drying (I haven't tried it in the dryer).

    Lumenglow Best - Small

    Size: Small fits my 55 lbs Vizsla very well.

    The dual adjustable elastic straps w/clips really allow for an extremely customizable fit. The material quality appears to be substantial but will see how it holds up in the field. The detail to the design with articulated panels, chest guard, reflective accents, hunter orange, etc are nicely added feature along with solid construction quality makes for a fine product.

    Fits like a dream for our lab, amazing visibility

    Full coverage front to back, plenty of room in the straps for adjustment, and the visibility vest is very bright at night when light hits it! This keeps our boy safe & cozy on our rainy & dark evening walks in the PNW. This was delivered very quickly, happy with the order to delivery time. This is a high quality product.

    Walter on the Run! I see him!!!

    Best vest ever! High visibility during daylight due to bright orange and yellow colors. High visibility at night on reflective surfaces of vest. It’s a great purchase for a dog who can travel a mile in the blink of an eye. Walter is much easier to spot when he’s on a tear!
