Author & Adventure Seeker

Since 2010, Jessica has been inspiring small dogs and their human companions to explore the outdoors and put more adventure into their lives. She is the author of the award-winning blog YouDidWhatWithYourWiener.com and President of the largest social Dachshund meetup club in Washington State. In 2012, she left her cushy government job to launch her online business, which inspired her to go back to school and earn her masters of communications in digital media for the University of Washington. When she's not working, you can find her hiking, camping, going on road trips with her hubby and three miniature Dachshunds… or planning her next adventure!

Quotation Marks

Many people mistakenly believe that small dogs don't need exercise and that dogs with short legs aren't capable of hiking. I believe we are breaking those stereotypes every time people see us out on the trails, so that motivates me to get out and do it. On a personal level, I'm motivated to get my dogs out in nature because I can see how much they love it, I know it's good for our health, and it helps me to clear my mind, and come up with creative content ideas.
