The Fernie is a technical sweater for dogs, designed for everyday adventures from the trail to town. Advanced sweater-knit fabric has the performance of a technical fleece jacket with the look of a sweater. Cut in a sleeved style with a full-length zipper, the Fernie offers coverage and warmth on its own or as a layer under other Ruffwear coats for additional warmth.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Fernie is a Regular Fit with a zippered closure and sleeves for core heat retention

Formfitting Regular Fit Relaxed Fit
Snug and conforms to the body’s contours. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel. Tailored with a bit of wiggle room. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel. A loose fit that drapes the body. Can be worn standalone or over Regular or Formfitting apparel. Works well for hard-to-fit dog shapes and sizes.

    Really soft

    Our dog doesnt have a lot of fur, so she needs a sweater for really cold temperatures. Fernie is the first swaeter that fits perfectly and is easy to put on, take of and covers her belly
